Get your footy fix this Saturday with the club’s VFL and VFLW sides playing their first doubleheader for the 2019 season.

Both teams will play against Williamstown at Box Hill City Oval with the action kicking off at 11.30am.

The women’s side will be looking for consecutive wins following their first victory of the season against Darebin last week.

They will be facing a determined Seagulls outfit who are still yet to get a win this season.

The Seagulls have recruited high profile AFLW players Aleisha Newman (Melbourne AFLW) and Moana Hope (formally from North Melbourne AFLW and Collingwood AFLW), who were both in good form last week.

The Box Hill Hawks will also be desperate for a win having been starved for a victory since Round 4.

They now sit just outside the eight in ninth position.

Kaiden Brand and was impressive last week with 19 marks and 30 disposals as was Jackson Ross who kicked four goals.

Williamstown have won their past two matches and will be hoping to notch up a hattrick of wins this weekend.

They currently sit fifth on the ladder.
