Hawthorn forward Jack Gunston was at his best against Port Adelaide on Saturday with a best-on-ground performance.
Gunston equalled a career-high with his six goals, inspiring the Hawks to an important victory.
With 21 disposals and nine marks to his name, the 27-year-old was simply too much to handle for the Power's defence.
Both Hawthorn Coach Alastair Clarkson and Port's Ken Hinkley agreed the forward was the best player afield as he received 10 coaches' votes on the day.
Not short of a highlight, Gunston's best goal came from an impressive toe-poke that somehow slid through for a goal despite a ridiculous angle.
