Hawthorn has made three changes to its line-up ahead of its Round 6 clash with Carlton at UTAS Stadium on Sunday.

Key position player Tim O’Brien will make his first senior appearance for the season after consistent form at VFL level.

He joins Captain Ben Stratton, who returns following a week on the sidelines in Round 5, and Liam Shiels, who comes in after a three-week absence with a hamstring injury.

“Stratts and Liam are obviously welcome additions back into the side,” GM-Football Graham Wright said.

“Tim has also worked his way into the team after some strong efforts for Box Hill.

“We’re really excited to get down to Tassie for the first time this year.

"It's a home away from home for us, and we're hoping to continue our strong form at UTAS Stadium."

The trio of inclusions see David Mirra, Conor Nash and Harry Morrison make way.

Hawthorn will host Carlton at University of Tasmania Stadium at 3.20pm this Sunday.
