James Frawley v Lance Franklin

Buddy is in red hot form following an afternoon out against West Coast in Round 12.

The Swans’ leading goal kicker in 2019 booted five goals against the Eagles, taking his average to 2.4 goals a game.

Frawley is known for his ability to shut down key position forwards and there’s no bigger challenge in the competition than Buddy Franklin.

How will Buddy go against his old team?

Ben McEvoy v Callum Sinclair

McEvoy had a seamless return to AFL last Friday night against the Bombers.

Big Boy had a game-high 25 hit-outs, 15 disposals and a goal.

Sinclair will be looking to celebrate his 100th career game on his terms.

Unlike McEvoy who has assistance from Ceglar, Sinclair shoulders the majority of the Swans’ ruck-load on his own.

Both have the ability to push forward and score goals. McEvoy has kicked seven this season, Sinclair four.

Will the combo of McEvoy/Ceglar be too much for Sinclair to manage on his own?

Jaeger O'Meara v George Hewett

O’Meara was watched closely by Essendon tagger Dylan Clarke last weekend and was kept reasonably quiet compared to his lofty standards.

Hewett was given the job tagging Tom Mitchell when these two teams met last year.

In Mitchell’s absence, you would think Hewett’s next mission will be to stop the Hawks’ number 10.

Will Jaeger be able to break his tag this week?
