Hawthorn will be hoping to welcome James Frawley back to its line-up ahead of the clash with GWS on Sunday.
The defender would be a valuable inclusion with the prospect of shutting down the competition’s leading goal kicker Jeremy Cameron this weekend.
Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd is optimistic about Frawley’s chances of a return.
"He's obviously ticked off the high-speed running component, he's back into the skills program, and at this stage he'll train for the rest of the week and should be available to play,” Boyd said on Tuesday.
Jack Scrimshaw was managed through Round 7 and would appear a likely addition back into the side after a promising start to his brown and gold career.
Midfielder James Cousins will also be available to play after missing the Melbourne game with a one-week suspension.
Cousins played the first six matches of the season, averaging 17 possessions, 4.2 tackles and 4.2 inside 50s.
Meanwhile the likes of Harry Morrison, Conor Glass and David Mirra have all performed solidly at VFL level in recent weeks with their names also possibly thrown up at match committee.
