Box Hill pulled-off an impressive one-point win over Williamstown last weekend to book a Grand Final berth.
After missing the game for various reasons, there are a handful of AFL-listed players who could be in the mix to return for the VFL finale.
Mature-age recruit David Mirra is one the Hawks may recall in order to bolster their backline against Casey.
The defender picked up 19 disposals and 10 marks in his first AFL final as the Hawks went down to Melbourne. With the AFL side bowing out, Mirra may return to assist the VFL side in its premiership hunt.
The same could be the case for first-year midfielder James Worpel.
After an impressive first season, Worpel would be a welcome addition to Box Hill’s engine room for the premiership decider after averaging almost 18 disposals and three clearances at AFL level.
Meanwhile versatile forward pair Ryan Schoenmakers and Conor Nash are also a chance to line up on Sunday.
Schoenmakers kicked two goals in Hawthorn’s semi final and has been invaluable across 10 VFL appearances this season.
Nash also impressed in his five AFL matches late in the season and could return this weekend to play an important role at either end of the ground for Box Hill.
Will Langford is also a slim chance to return, if deemed fit ahead of Sunday's clash.
In order to be eligible for selection, each player must have played at least one AFL, VFL or Development game in 2017. If they have played an AFL home and away match after the 1st of July, they must have played at least six VFL games during the season to remain eligible.
