We’ve been keeping a close eye on our signed Hawthorn women as they play out the AFLW season with their respective clubs.

There are currently three AFLW-listed women on Hawthorn’s list for the 2018 VFLW, with more to come.

See how each of the girls performed over the weekend in Round 4 of the AFLW.

Phoebe McWilliams (GWS)

Having lead the league’s goalkicking tally through the first three rounds, Phoebe McWilliams went goalless in her side’s draw with Adelaide at Blacktown.

Now finding herself in third place on the competition’s table, it was the first game of the season that the key forward had failed to hit the scoreboard.

The wet conditions made it a tough day for talls with the 31-year old managing just two disposals, one mark and two tackles.

Rebecca Beeson (GWS)

Rebecca Beeson broke her drought in front of goal, when she booted the Giants’ first major of the day in the opening term on Sunday.

As it turned out, that goal would be one of only two that her side kicked on the day as the Giants and Crows endured a tough slog in torrential rain.

The 20-year old was named amongst her side’s best players as she recorded season-highs with 13 disposals and six tackles to go with her goal.

Emma Mackie (WB)

Mackie was again left out of the Bulldogs line-up on the weekend.

The Bulldogs delivered arguably their best performance of the season as they consolidated top spot on the AFLW ladder.

But Mackie, the Box Hill Hawks reigning VFLW club champion, was forced to watch from the sidelines having played just the one game in Round 1 so far this season.
