Star Hawk Jack Gunston has surpassed 300 career goals after kicking three in the Hawks’ win over St Kilda on Saturday night.
The triple-premiership player was amongst the Hawks’ best as they defeated the Saints by 35 points at University of Tasmania Stadium, as Gunston achieved the milestone in the last quarter with his second goal for the night.
The 193cm forward has so far enjoyed an impressive 2018 campaign, averaging 18 disposals and kicking 11 goals from the Hawks’ opening six rounds in a return to a more familiar role in attack after spending a considerable portion of last season playing in defence.

Gunston joins teammates Jarryd Roughead and Luke Breust as current Hawks to have also kicked 300-career goals, and sits 13th in the club’s records for the most goals scored in the brown and gold.
The former Adelaide Crow crossed to the Hawks at the end of the 2011 season and has since developed into an elite AFL player across 141 games in the brown and gold, playing an instrumental role in the Hawks’ three successive premierships between 2013 and 2015.
