The Hawthorn Football Club will again celebrate the Pink Ribbon Game this weekend when it takes on the Brisbane Lions at UTAS Stadium.

The Hawks will don pink guernseys for the third consecutive year, in support of the Cancer Council of Tasmania.

With the alarming statistic in mind that one in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, Cancer Council Tasmania is a charity that works to minimise the incidence and impact of cancer on all Tasmanians.

The players’ match-worn playing guernseys will be auctioned off following the game with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Cancer Council Tasmania.

HawksNest will also be selling a range of pink garments, including pink caps and merino wool beanies, with 10 per cent of all sales to be donated to Cancer Council Tasmania.

You can shop Hawthorn’s pink range here.

Fans are encouraged to wear a touch of pink when they head out to the game on Saturday afternoon to show their support.
