After six seasons at the Hawthorn Football Club, Assistant Coach Brett Ratten will explore new career opportunities at the end of the 2018 season.
Joining the Hawks in 2013, Ratten has been an integral part of three Premierships in his time at the club.
“As this time of the year we have open dialogue with all our coaches regarding next season. While we have not finalised our coaching structure for 2019, Brett and the club have both made the decision that after six years as a line coach with the Hawks it is time for him to explore new opportunities,” GM – Football, Graham Wright said.
“His infallible work ethic and values as a coach and person has made Brett a much loved figure at our club amongst players, staff and supporters. Hawthorn is incredibly grateful for what Brett and his family have given to the club over six years and he remains fully committed to Hawthorn for the remainder of our 2018 campaign.”
