The Hawthorn VFLW side completed its miraculous transformation when it defeated Geelong by 11 points to claim the premiership at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Having finished third-last in 2017, the Hawks saw enormous growth as they lost just two games on their way to Grand Final glory.

In what was a low-scoring affair, the Hawks held a slight advantage all day, leading at every change in a true arm wrestle of a contest.
Coach Paddy Hill said the final siren brought about an incredible range of emotion for him and his side.
“It was a relief,” Hill said.
“You know the girls are getting what they absolutely deserve so I was rapt for them.”
Hill, who coached the club in their first year of competition last season, said the group has made incredible improvement in such a short space of time.
“It’s absolutely my proudest moment (as a coach).
“Sometimes proud moments as a coach are as much about the trying times as the good times.
“But seeing everything come together, from starting two years ago, to get to this point here really is amazing.”
Defender Chantella Perera was awarded the Lisa Hardeman Medal as best afield after an excellent game in defence for the Hawks.
