According to the media, once again Hawthorn are the favourites to land every player currently on the trade table. Yes all of them. Hawks 2019 list will have roughly 73 players on it.

Best trade scenario I've heard so far is that Gold Coast end up with picks 2, 3, 4 and 5. Then within 5 years they are all playing for Hawthorn, Richmond and Collingwood.

Shiel gets to Hawthorn. Then we must go after a key position forward in the draft or get ourselves in the position to trade for one next year. Our ageing backline can hold up for the next 2-3 years + have Sicily, Hardwick, Burton to work with.

The Shaun Burgoyne trade is still reaping dividends for Hawthorn - the pick #9 that we sent to Port as part of the deal was used for Andrew Moore, who didn't make much of an impact at AFL level but yesterday captained Box Hill to a flag

Hawks getting 53 players in the trade period this year. Again.

Just read Hawks interested in Karl Amon as well. Hawks getting busy. Shiel, Amon and Scrimshaw would be some trade period.
