We’ve been keeping a close eye on our signed Hawthorn women as they play out the AFLW season with their respective clubs.

There are currently three AFLW-listed women on Hawthorn’s list for the 2018 VFLW, with more to come.

See how each of the girls performed over the weekend in Round 3 of the AFLW.

Phoebe McWilliams (GWS)

McWilliams was an integral part of helping the Giants register their first win of the season on Sunday.

Named amongst her side’s best players, the 32-year old forward booted two goals to take her season tally to six goals from the opening three games.

The key forward is the competition’s leading goal kicker through the first three rounds of the season.

Rebecca Beeson (GWS)

Beeson also had a solid game for the Giants on Sunday, gathering 11 disposals in her side’s win.

The Round 1 Rising Star nominee continued to show her wares as one of the emerging small forwards of the competition.

The 20-year old looked dangerous at times, despite failing to hit the scoreboard.

The Giants face Adelaide in Blacktown this week as Beeson continues her search for her first goal of season 2018.

Emma Mackie (WB)

Mackie spent her second consecutive week filling the emergency role for the Western Bulldogs.

The reigning Box Hill club champion will be hoping head coach Paul Groves will look to make changes to the team that lost to Adelaide by seven points at Norwood Oval on Saturday.

Mackie would offer the Dogs some midfield prowess that VFLW fans became all too familiar with last season when Mackie was named in her team’s best players in seven of her 11 outings.
