Hawks fans are in for a Thursday night blockbuster in Week 1 of the 2018 Toyota AFL Finals Series.
After defeating Sydney and locking in the double chance, Hawthorn has booked in an MCG final against reigning premiers Richmond.

The clash will mark the opening of this year's finals series, with the battle booked for Thursday September 6th at 7.20pm.
The Hawks and Tigers met just the once in the 2018 home and away season; a Round 3 clash that saw Damien Hardwick's men prevail by 13 points.
In all of AFL/VFL history, these two sides have never come face to face in a final.
