Hawks midfielder Daniel Howe has been cited by the Match Review Panel for two separate incidents that occurred during the first quarter of Hawthorn’s Round 18 win over the Blues.
The 23-year-old has been charged with striking Carlton’s Patrick Cripps and has been offered a two-match sanction.
Based on the available evidence and a medical report from the Carlton Football Club, the incident was classified as intentional conduct with medium impact to the head.
Howe has also been referred directly to the tribunal after being charged with tripping Zac Fisher. The incident was classified as careless conduct with severe impact to the body, with Howe unable to accept an early plea.
Ricky Henderson has also been offered a fine after making contact front-on contact with Levi Casboult. The incident was classified as careless conduct with low impact to the head and was assessed as a $3000 sanction.
He can accept a $2000 sanction with an early plea.
