Hawthorn has been forced to make four changes to its Round 9 line up, with Cyril Rioli, Ben Stratton, James Frawley and Jack Fitzpatrick all sidelined with injury.

Brendan Whitecross, Ty Vickery, Taylor Duryea and Kaiden Brand have each been called up to the side set to face the 17th placed Magpies.
While the Hawks have experienced a horrid week of injuries, GM-Football Operations Jason Burt sees a silver lining in the club’s ability to recall players who have been performing strongly at VFL level.
“It hasn't been the best week in terms of injuries, first with Cyril, Stratts and Chip ruled out immediately after the game, followed by Fitzy with his concussion.
“But we’re incredibly lucky that we’ve got so many players consistently performing for Box Hill, who have had an unbeaten start to the season.
“Ty has kicked 11 goals in the past four weeks, Doc has been strong in defence, and Whitey provides so much experience around the ground.
“Young Kaiden Brand was unlucky to be squeezed out of the AFL side two weeks ago, and well and truly deserves his call up.
“We’re confident these four players can come in and play their role for the side.”
