Taylor Duryea is set to play his 100th game in the brown and gold when the Hawks take on Carlton this Saturday.
Taken with Pick 69 in the 2009 Draft, Duryea completed his apprenticeship at Box Hill before eventually earning a senior call up in Round 3, 2013.
99 games and two premierships later (2014, 2015), and ‘Doc’ has become a much-loved figure in the Hawthorn line up.

After interrupted start to his 2017 campaign, with form and injury keeping the 26-year-old out of the senior side between Rounds 2 and 8, Duryea has returned to career-best form, booting nine goals in the last seven rounds whilst playing as a negating small forward.
Duryea’s influence extends beyond the football field, with the premiership star recently named alongside Cyril Rioli as Hawthorn’s Mental Health Program Ambassadors, as the club and players work to reduce the stigma around mental health.
Duryea currently holds a 100 per cent winning record over the Blues, having emerged victorious in each of his four encounters, and Hawks fans will be hopeful this record can continue in Round 22.
