Tyrone Vickery has been charged for striking Port Melbourne’s Brody Mihocek during Box Hill’s Round 18 clash.
AFL Victoria’s Match Review Panel assessed the first quarter incident as intentional conduct with low impact and high contact. The incident was classified as a two-match base sanction, however as Vickery has no applicable record, he can accept one week with an early guilty plea.
As a result, the former Tiger will not be available for selection in Hawthorn’s Round 23 clash against Western Bulldogs.
