Luke Hodge's athleticism and hand eye coordination can seemingly translate to any sport he tries his hand at.
Hodge was more than impressive on Friday night, as he slogged the cricket ball all over York Park in the T20 charity match against North Melbourne.
From the 28 balls he faced, Hodgey managed three sixes and two fours, with his first maximum coming from his very first bowl faced.
He raced away to 40 runs, before a teasing bouncer from Anthony Stevens found the edge of Hodge's bat and flew straight up, giving Stevens plenty of time to adjust and take the catch (even with a menacing Hodge running directly towards him).
Hodge chalked up the most runs for the Hawks and managed the second highest tally for the evening, outscored only by cricketing legend Ricky Ponting.
All proceeds from the charity match went to the Ponting Foundation to help young Australians battling cancer.
