Hawthorn has made two late changes ahead of its Round 9 clash with the Magpies.
Kaiden Brand (illness) and Tim O’Brien (hip) come out of the side, and will be replaced by Kurt Heatherley and James Sicily.
Heatherley will play just his second game for the Hawks, having debuted in Round 20 last year. After an injury interrupted pre-season, the New Zealand-born defender has been among the top performers for Box Hill across the past fortnight.
Sicily was omitted from the senior side following Hawthorn’s narrow win over Melbourne in Round 7, before responding with a solid performance against Richmond in last week’s VFL win.
The Hawks will face the Magpies at 7.25pm at the MCG as they look to notch up their third straight win.
