With the mountain of our maiden victory climbed, our VFL Women’s side now looks to the next peak as they prepare to take on the Cranbourne Eagles in their Round 10 clash this Sunday from 2pm at Frenken Homes Oval.
Box Hill’s thrilling win over the Seaford Tigerettes was just reward for their development in their first season at VFL Women’s level. The Hawks have unfinished business with the Eagles, who overcame the Hawks in the final quarter of their Round 4 battle at Box Hill City Oval to win by 13 points.
The Hawks have been strengthened by the inclusion of young gun Olivia Flanagan, who returns to the side after making the All-Australian squad while playing for Victoria Metro at the AFL Women’s Under 18 Championships on the Gold Coast.
Final teams announced prior to the bounce.
