Dallas Willsmore
24 disposals, 5 marks, 4 tackles, 1 goal
“He received some close attention on the day, but his workrate was terrific to get off his opponent and get involved in the game. He probably had a stronger first half- he finished with 24 disposals, but probably had 17 at half-time. But his workrate was terrific throughout the day, he played on the wing and played a little bit on-ball. We were happy with Dallas’ game.” CN
Harry Morrison
21 disposals, 6 marks, 9 tackles
“Harry Morrison finished with 21 disposals. He laid nine tackles as well so we’re finding that his ability to go from contest to contest is his great strength. He got a bit more midfield time on the weekend as well after playing the majority of the season in defence.” CN
Ollie Hanrahan
17 disposals, 5 marks, 1 goal
“First game back from injury for Ollie so he had limited game time. He played three quarters and finished with 17 disposals, which is pretty good output. He played forward and mid and was really effective with his disposal. He managed to hit the scoreboard with a couple of shots and one goal, and also managed to set up a couple. We really like what Ollie brings, he’s got all the time in the world when he’s got the ball. He’s a very composed player and we feel like there’s a lot of upside to Ollie’s game.” CN
Conor Glass
17 disposals, 4 tackles, 4 rebound 50s
“Glassy ended up with 17 disposals as well. He’s been playing mid the last few weeks but we thought we would give him another stint down back. He’s been trying to work on his defensive elements, they have been at the forefront of his mind in his training. But also he is trying to add to his handball receives, and get involved offensively. We want him to really maximise his strengths, he’s got really good speed and agility, so we want him to break the lines, take grass and take the game on. We thought he did that really well and we’ve got to be prepared for him to make a few mistakes along the way but that’s the style of footy we want to be seeing from him.” CN
Brendan Whitecross
14 disposals, 3 marks, 4 tackles
“Not a high number in terms of disposals but he was quite effective with the footy and he set us up quite a lot with his decision-making. The other thing was his effort off the ball. He saved us quite a lot of times with a lunging spoil or a tackle, those desperate actions that we love from ‘Whitey’. I’m sure he feels he can contribute more than that but he was fairly solid on the day.” CN

Ty Vickery
12 disposals, 3 marks, 2 tackles, 5 hit-outs, 1 goal
“He had to go into the ruck for more than he would have liked. We had Marc Pittonet, who went down and was off the ground for a little bit for some treatment. So Ty had to go into the ruck a little bit more against John Meesen, who is quite a good ruck. We’d like to have Ty forward as much as we can but he competed in there against a quality ruckman. Ty kicked 1.2, so he has had scoring opportunities every week to kick goals. He just has to kick those goals and then compete in the ruck when he has to.” CN
Teia Miles
9 disposals, 4 marks, 2 inside 50s
“Not his best day. He played back for the majority, but also spent time in the midfield and forward. So, it is hard to get settled when you get thrown around like that. We tried to get the best out of him on the day. He still set up quite a few scoring opportunities for us with his run and carry but he probably just needs to see a little more of the footy, he knows that. He’ll bounce back on that performance.” CN
Mitchell Lewis
8 disposals, 2 marks, 3 tackles, 1 goal
“Lewis went back for us in the last quarter, and probably played his best footy when he was back there. He moves quite well for a big fella and he loves to compete, so it could be a good area that suits him. Whether he will play back or forward this week, I’m not sure, but it is certainly an area that we can explore with him. He also ended up kicking a goal so he has hit the scoreboard which is pleasing. He is also still a young kid, who is still learning his craft, but it is good to know that he has the flexibility to go back when its needed. So there is some promising signs for him there.” CN
Marc Pittonet
3 disposals, 6 tackles, 23 hit-outs
“He had a bit of an injury that hampered him throughout the day. He only had three disposals, not that that is his focus. His focus is probably more to compete in the ruck, which I think he did pretty well, he had a pretty good battle with Meesen. It’s always great to see ‘Pitto’ finish with six tackles, that shows he can compete in the ruck and then also follow up on ground level.” CN
