Over the course of the last five meetings between the Hawks and the Lions, Liam Shiels has been awarded more Brownlow votes than any other player, apart from Jarryd Roughead, who also has five.
Couple this with the fact that this weekend is the vice captain’s 150th milestone game and all indications would suggest the 26-year old is in for a strong game.

Over his last five games against Brisbane, Hawthorn captain Jarryd Roughead has averaged 19.6 disposals and 3.6 goals.
Of any ground in the country where Roughead has played at least five games, University of Tasmania Stadium has brought about his best average goal kicking return, 2.6 goals per outing.
Coming off his best game of the season last week against Melbourne, kicking four goals and having 15 disposals, the skipper will be keen to continue his strong form into round eight.
Tim O’Brien
Another Hawk fresh off his best game of the season, and perhaps his career, Tim O’Brien will be determined to emulate a similar performance this week.
O’Brien was a match-winner last week, pulling down ten marks, five of which were contested, in a display that would have put a smile on many Hawk supporters’ faces.
Those fans will watch on with interest this weekend to see how the South Australian responds after a week of fanfare and praise.

Tom Rockliff
Interesting fact: Tom Rockliff has the highest career average disposals of any player that has ever played the game at 26.99 possessions per game.
The 27-year old has resumed his reputation as one of the game’s premium ball-getters this year, averaging 30.1 disposals over the first seven games of the season.
Important to note is the way in which Rockliff earns these disposals, with almost half of his total being contested possession, his average of 14.3 a game ranks him seventh league-wide.
Stefan Martin
Stefan Martin has been in supreme form over the opening two months of this season. The 198cm ruckman makes for a difficult match-up given his ability to gain ruck dominance as well as earning high possession numbers.
The former Demon has had the third-most hit-outs in the competition this season, whilst also averaging 20.7 disposals, a considerably higher number than any other player that has had over ten hit-outs for the year.
Another in-form ruckman, Ben McEvoy, awaits Martin this week, in a duel that promises to have a defining influence on the outcome of this match.
