Jarman Impey is set to become the second player on Hawthorn’s current list to have played for both the Hawks and the Power.
The other, of course, is Shaun Burgoyne. Since shifting to Waverley at the end of the 2009 season, Burgoyne has managed a handy three premierships.
In fact, every player that has started their career at Alberton before finding their way to Waverley has won a premiership in the brown and gold.
The list includes Burgoyne (157 games for Port Adelaide, 184* for Hawthorn), Brent Guerra (65, 159), Stuart Dew (180, 26) and Stephen Gilham (1, 98). Guerra also spent time at St Kilda in between, while Gilham finished his career as a Giant.
Brent Renouf and Nathan Lonie are the only other two men to have played for both clubs, after being drafted to the Hawks before crossing the border late in their careers.
