After four matches of steady improvement, our VFL Women’s side will face their biggest test yet when they take on 2016 finalists the Eastern Devils at Mulgrave Reserve in their Round 5 clash this Sunday.

The Hawks are still looking for their history-making first win, with their agonising Round 4 loss to the Cranbourne Eagles sure to be a burning motivator when they take the field. The Hawks went down by 13 points, overrun in the final term after leading for most of the match in what was their most encouraging performance yet.

The Devils have just the one win on the board but have been through a tough draw that has seen them play every other top four side from 2016.

Box Hill has made just one change for the match. Grace Dillon makes way for Bronte Bilston-Gourley, who will make her VFLW debut.

The match gets underway at 2pm this Sunday at Mulgrave Reserve.

Final teams will be announced prior to the bounce.
