It was a positive week of football on the injury front, with both Jaeger O’Meara and Paul Puopolo recovering well following their first hit out in several weeks.
“Both of them went really well so we’re really pleased,” said Elite Performance Manager Andrew Russell.
“Jaeger played 76 minutes. We got a message from his Dad after the game to say ‘the old Jaeger’s back’ and that he was happy with the way he moved, so we were happy to hear that.
“He’s up for senior selection, so the match committee and Clarko will make a decision later in the week.
“Poppy also moved well after being out for five or six weeks... so he’s also up for selection.”
