Jordan Lewis (Hawthorn)

The vice-captain was inspirational last week against the Cats, leading the midfield charge with 36 disposals for the night.

Lewis covered a lot of ground in the narrow loss, registering 11 marks, seven rebound 50s and five inside 50s as the Hawks nearly got over the line with the last kick of the night.

Shaun Burgoyne (Hawthorn)

Burgoyne moved to second on the list of most finals played by any AFL player last week, and certainly harnessed all of his big-game experience to deliver a couple of crucial goals against Geelong.

The man known as ‘Silk’ finished with 21 disposals, five clearances and two goals in a sublime display in his 32nd career final, and the Hawks will be hoping for a repeat performance against the Dogs tonight.

Grant Birchall (Hawthorn)

One of the best half backs in the competition, Birchall saw plenty of the footy last week against Geelong on his way to 28 touches for the night.

Taking 12 marks and also completing three rebound 50s and two inside 50s, Hawthorn will look to get Birchall into the game as much as possible again against the Western Bulldogs, who he had 23 disposals against in Round 3.

Luke Dahlhaus (Western Bulldogs)

Dahlhaus was involved in everything for the Dogs in their upset win over the Eagles last week, finishing with 29 touches (16 contested), nine tackles and three goals.

After missing some games mid-season was a knee injury, he is pivotal to both the midfield and forward line of the Dogs, and will need to be closely watched by the Hawks tonight.

Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs)

‘The Bont’ didn’t have his most influential game last week against the Eagles in terms of possessions after being well held by West Coast stopper Mark Hutchings for most of the night.

But as he often does, he moved forward and snagged two important goals as the Dogs crushed the Eagles by 47 points at Domain Stadium - a move the Dogs could make against the Hawks at various stages tonight.
