The changes
The Cats made just one change for tonight's qualifying final at the MCG.
Scott Selwood will return after missing the Cats' win over Melbourne in round 23 due to hamstring soreness.
Defender Jed Bews is the unlucky player to miss out.
Hawthorn will welcome the return of experienced duo, Ben McEvoy and Ben Stratton. Making way for the returning premiership stars are Marc Pittonet and Billy Hartung.

Final teams: Hawthorn V Geelong

What to expect
The Cats were red hot in Round 23, dismantling Melbourne to the tune of 111 points and sounding an ominous warning to the rest of the competition ahead of September.
Joel Selwood and Patrick Dangerfield both collected over 30 disposals and Tom Hawkins found form with six goals as the Cats did as they pleased on their home deck.
Geelong have opted to play with a tall side for most of the season, playing with the combination of Zac Smith and Rhys Stanley in the ruck and Tom Lonergan, Harry Taylor, Lachie Henderson and Jake Kolodjashnij in defence.
Daniel Menzel has finally found a regular spot in the Cats’ best 22 after overcoming a number of serious knee injuries and gives Geelong a real spark in their front half.
While all the talk has been about Selwood and Dangerfield this season, the second tier of midfielders at the Cattery also contains quality players.
Josh Caddy, Mitch Duncan, Cam Guthrie and Sam Menagola are all extremely capable of stepping into the void if needed.

Watch: Battle of the midfield crucial, says Clarkson

Players to watch
With some wet weather over the last 12 hours, conditions could be ideal for Geelong star Jimmy Bartel, who thrives in the wet.
Cats skipper Joel Selwood could also be in his element if the game is heavily contested, and keeping him and Patrick Dangerfield quiet are crucial to Hawthorn’s chances of victory.
