REGARDLESS of ladder positions, there’s no denying that Hawthorn and Essendon’s long-standing rivalry is one of the most renowned in Australian sport. 

Sport centres around intense matches between the fiercest of rivals.

Australia and England in the Ashes. Queensland and New South Wales in the State of Origin. Barcelona and Real Madrid in El Clasico.

The list goes on and on.

For that reason, we’re taking a different approach to Twitter this week, channelling one of the all-time great sports movie rivalries.
