FOUR Hawks have featured in the coaches’ votes after Hawthorn’s tense win over Sydney last Thursday night.
Sam Mitchell was recognised by both Alastair Clarkson and John Longmire for his 37-possession game, polling eight of a possible ten votes.
Shaun Burgoyne also polled well with six votes following his herculean last quarter in which he had 11 disposals and kicked two goals.
Vice-captain Jordan Lewis collected four votes for his 26-disposal, one goal effort while Cyril Rioli polled one vote from the coaches.
Luke Parker was Sydney’s best player in the coaches’ eyes, polling six votes on the back on 35 disposals, 14 clearances and a goal.
Gary Rohan also collected five votes after kicking four goals for the Swans.
