MIDFIELDER Sam Mitchell and defender James Frawley featured in the AFLCA coaches' votes in Round 1.
Mitchell polled four votes for his 36-disposal, eight-clearance performance in the 30-point loss to Geelong, while Frawley picked up two votes for his work down back.
The second-year Hawk helped hold star Cat Tom Hawkins to two majors, while picking up 18 disposals of his own.
However, it was no surprise who Alastair Clarkson and Chris Scott gave their five votes to.
Patrick Dangerfield scored a perfect 10, while fellow Cat Josh Caddy picked up four votes off each coach.
Cats ruckman Zac Smith (four) and Cam Guthrie (two) rounded out the votes.
