ALEX Woodward will make his return for the Box Hill Hawks this Sunday when they take on Richmond in the VFL.
Earlier this month Woodward played his first game in more than 12 months, lining up for Box Hill Hawks' development side against Northern Blues at Box Hill City Oval.
The midfielder racked up 13 disposals in a half on return but unfortunately his luck ran out when he tore his plantar fasciitis.
Box Hill has named an extended squad which will be finalised once Hawthorn decides its final line-up at 5pm this evening.
Hawthorn fans will have the opportunity to see a double dose of Hawthorn this weekend with Box Hill taking on the Tigers from 12.30pm at Punt Road Oval prior to the Round 19 clash between the Tigers and Hawks at the MCG.
Meanwhile Box Hill Development side will take on Werribee 11am Saturday at Avalon Airport Oval.
