THE Hawks are no strangers to the big stage.
But the Super Bowl is a world stage they are yet to conquer.
That could all be about to change, thanks to Hawks supporter and Melbourne filmmaker Peter Carstairs.
Peter recently created a commercial for Doritos as a part of the brand’s international search for a new advertisement, with the winning entry aired at this year’s Super Bowl.
From the 4,500 commercials received, Peter’s commercial is one of the final three remaining ads in the global competition.
With just three ads left, it is now over to the public to decide which ad will have the honour of being aired at the Super Bowl.
The winning ad will be decided by public votes – and Hawks fan Peter needs your help!
If Peter’s video receives enough votes to take out the competition, not only will he be the first filmmaker outside of the USA to win the competition – he will also do so in true Hawks style, sporting our brown and gold jumper on the global stage.
The hilarious video has already gone viral across the world, having received over 27 million views online.
Peter is asking all Hawks fans to vote for his commercial, Ultrasound, to ensure our brown and gold colours are showcased to a 110 million strong audience at this year’s Super Bowl.
Voting is simple, and can be completed once a day, per device until 5pm on Monday 1 February.
This means you can go crazy and do a vote per day on your computer, along with your phone and tablet. You could also go the extra mile and vote on your family and friends’ own electronic devices too.
With your votes we could see the Hawks at the Super Bowl in February!
