HAWTHORN has made just one change for Thursday night’s Round 16 match against Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Cyril Rioli will return to the side after missing the Hawks’ Round 14 match to attend his grandfather’s funeral.

The unlucky man making way for Rioli is youngster Daniel Howe, who has been omitted from the side.

Rioli is a welcome inclusion for the Hawks averaging 14 disposals and two goals so far in season 2016.

GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan said the Hawks are delighted to have Rioli back in the side.

“It’s great to have Cyril back this week. He’s an important player for us and we look forward to his contribution this weekend,” Fagan said.

“Unfortunately, Daniel Howe is the unlucky guy who makes way for Cyril.

“He played his role in Round 14 against Gold Coast and I have no doubt he will get his chance in the AFL side again in future weeks.”

Howe joins Angus Litherland and Brendan Whitecross as the Hawks’ emergencies.
