We've tuned up for finals with a 57-point win against the Blues, with Gunners + Roughy bagging four each.
The Rundown
Hawthorn ensured it carried winning form into the 2015 finals campaign, defeating Carlton by 57 points at the MCG in the final round of the home and away season.
The Hawks kicked away to a four-goal lead at quarter time and never looked back against the Blues.
Jack Gunston and Jarryd Roughead each kicked four goals, while Sam Mitchell collected 34 disposals.
The Star
Sam Mitchell picked up the three Brownlow votes for his 34-disposal, six-tackle game, but there were a host of Hawks to impress - including Gunston, Roughead, Josh Gibson, Bradley Hill and Jordan Lewis.
The Moment
James Sicily and James Frawley almost made a meal of a certain goal! With both Frawley and Sicily out the back, a quick transition by hand saw the two forwards with just one defender to beat. A combination of handballs allowed the Blues an opportunity to tackle, but Frawley collected the scraps to toe-poke a goal right on the line.
The Coach
“For us to have a near-10-goal win, win every quarter, we weren't absolutely sensational with the way we played but we got the job done.” – Alastair Clarkson
