STAR forward Jack Gunston re-signed for three years on Friday morning - then jumped on Facebook to answer questions from fans before the Hawks headed to Launceston.
Q: What is the best game you have ever played in? – Mia
A: The 2013 prelim against Geelong was a great game to be a part of. Being 20 points down at 3/4 time and coming back for the win was a great feeling.
Q: How long did it take for you to nail down your goal kicking technique? Does it frustrate you to see other players in the comp changing style every kick and often missing? – Andrew
A: It was a working progress over my first few years in the system to find a routine that suited me. There is no one set way to have a shot, it is whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Q: Are you enjoying the extra responsibility this season without the big Rough and helping the young guys Sicily and O'Brien develop? – Sam
A: My role hasn't changed, it is great to see other guys develop and play their role in the team.
Q: Your use of the body in marking contests is a standout in the competition. Do you have a couple of tips for youngsters to focus on? – Cam
A: Picking up the ball flight early and protecting the drop zone.
Q: Do you find it hard to find the hunger and determination to win more premierships and still be successful after winning three in a row? – Jack
A: Absolutely not, your always want to experience that feeling you get after winning a premiership, so it's not hard to find the hunger again the following season.
Q: It must be an amazing feeling being involved in such a high quality group and environment... how do you stay grounded? – Mary-Lou
A: It is pretty easy to stay grounded being around so many great players. There is always room to improve and achieve more.
Q: What do you like to do when you're not playing footy? – Joanna
A: I love my golf so getting out on the course when I can.
Q: Do you agree that ditching the blond tips was the key to you becoming a triple premiership player? – Adrian
A: It has definitely helped!
Q: What was the best advice you were ever given? – Annette
A: Don't give up on being drafted even if you come across a few setbacks.
Q: Good to see 3 more years, can you see yourself playing up forward for the rest of the year? - Carlo
A: Majority of my work is done up forward but do get up on the wing at times.
