IT was all Hawthorn in the Round 2 coaches' votes - literally.

Unsurprisingly, defender Josh Gibson polled five votes apiece from Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson and West Coast Eagles coach Adam Simpson.

Gibson collected an equal club-best 44 disposals in the Hawks' 46-point win against the Eagles, and also floated forward to kick his first goal for the Hawks.

He was one of four players to poll the maximum 10 votes in Round 2 - alongside Collingwood's Alex Fasolo, Adelaide's Tom Lynch and North Melbourne's Jarrad Waite

Tireless midfielder Sam Mitchell polled eight votes for his 37-disposal effort, while four-goal forward Cyril Rioli was the next best with five votes.

A career-best 32 disposals helped Billy Hartung poll four votes, while fifth-gamer James Sicily polled two and defender Ben Stratton picked up one.

Mitchell's Round 2 haul sees him move into equal sixth on the overall table with 12 votes, seven behind leader Luke Parker from the Sydney Swans.
