LUKE Breust has earned a Goal of the Year nomination for one of his majors against Fremantle in Round 8.

It was Breust's first-quarter effort - his first of three goals for the day - which won him the nomination.

The Hawthorn forward dodged one tackle, bounced off the behind post and evaded two more tackles to snap truly from close range.
