HAWTHORN forward Jack Gunston will play his 100^th match for the club this week, and there have been plenty of good ones.

We’ve picked out five of the best as he prepares for his milestone match. As you might have guessed, there’s plenty of goals.

1. Preliminary final, 2013 v Geelong

Jack Gunston had played some impressive matches for Hawthorn across his first two seasons, but it’s the 2013 Preliminary Final against the Cats that stands out. It was Gunston’s 41^st match for Hawthorn, and a drought-breaking win against the Cats.

Gunston was the Hawks’ leading goalkicker on the night, kicking four goals from 21 disposals and five marks. Three of those goals came in the first half, with the fourth one coming midway through an intense final-term comeback.

2. Grand Final, 2013 v Fremantle

On the back of a brilliant game against the Cats, Gunston delivered again a week later against Fremantle on the biggest of stages.

He had three majors before half time, and added another at a crucial time late in the third quarter to finish with four goals from 16 disposals and six marks.

3. Round 16, 2014 v North Melbourne

The Hawks lost to North Melbourne but 20 points in this game, but Gunston was a standout. He finished with a game-high six goals, to go with 21 disposals and seven marks.

Four of Gunston’s goals came in the second half, as he received two Brownlow votes for his performance.

4. Round 17, 2015 v Carlton

It was a one-sided contest, but Gunston was one of its dominant players.

The key forward snagged six goals, collected 26 disposals and took 12 marks, receiving three Brownlow votes as the Hawks beat Carlton to the tune of 138 points.

5. Grand Final, 2015 v West Coast Eagles

After missing the semi and preliminary final wins through injury, Gunston entered the grand final under an injury cloud, but played his role to perfection.

He kicked four goals from 17 disposals and 10 marks at the MCG, as the Hawks downed the Eagles by 46 points to seal the three-peat.
