HAWTHORN has returned Kade Stewart to the rookie list, with fellow 2015 draftee Ryan Burton coming back onto the primary list.

Burton was the Hawks’ first pick in last year’s NAB AFL Draft at number 19, but has not played since mid-April, when he had an operation on his knee and was added to the long-term injury list.

The 19-year-old is set to return to football through the VFL this weekend.

Fellow draftee Stewart made his AFL debut in Round 11, playing three consecutive matches at the level.

The 19-year-old joined the club with pick 36 in last year’s Rookie Draft.
