It’s New Year’s Eve, that time of year where we all start making resolutions to curb our bad habits.
Maybe we pledge to get to the gym more often, to stop buying unnecessary items, to save more money, or to be a little kinder to those around us.
Hey, no one’s perfect. While some fans may think our Hawks boys are, each of them have their own little imperfections they wish they could change.
So, we asked the boys: what is your worst habit?
Here are some of their responses.
Jack Gunston and Harry Morrison are prone to being a little impatient at times.
Ollie Hanrahan and Jack Fitzpatrick consider themselves a tad bit lazy.
Jaeger O’Meara tends to be a bit indecisive. Hawks fans may disagree, Jaeger certainly made at least one good decision this year!
Kurt Heatherly says he’s guilty of ‘going too hard at training’ – sorry Kurt, we don’t think that fits the criteria.
James Sicily’s untidy, Conor Nash is poor at time keeping, and Taylor Duryea is the master of procrastination.
And who might the nail biters of the group be? Dallas Willsmore, Kade Stewart, and, you guessed it – Luke Hodge.
Tom Mitchell answered with more of a fashion flaw rather than a habit; our new recruit pairs jeans with runners (ie. Junners) more often than he should.
See, though they may be perfect in the eyes of supporters, even our players have their own little quirks.
A bit of advice for the New Year; don’t be too hard on yourself.
Try to get to the gym, try to save some money, and try to be kind to others.
If all fails, there’s only 365 days left until your next New Year’s Resolution.
PS. We doubt Hodgey is going to stop biting his nails anytime soon.
