NOT only is Taylor Duryea ready for Round 1, he also delved into his role as the club's resident hairdresser on RSN Radio this morning.
Speaking to RSN on Wednesday morning, Duryea said the Hawks were ready to cover the losses of players from retirement and injuries.
"We've got a really good mix of young guys - Angus Litherland is really versatile and can play tall or small, Kaiden Brand was out with a shoulder reconstruction last year, he's come in and picked things up really quickly - there ar a couple of players who are putting their hands up," he said.
Duryea said that he was feeling in good physical condition ahead of the Hawks' Round 1 clash with Geelong.
"The body is good - we had a little an intra-club match on Monday, got through that pretty well along with most of the other guys so definitely ready for Monday."
