Changkuoth Jiath came to the Hawks in the 2018 Rookie Draft.
Jiath had a slow start to his first year in the AFL with a groin injury, but his 2019 was looking to be the year for a senior debut.
After impressing in the VFL, the 20-year-old finally got named in the senior side for the Round 21 clash against GWS.
In his debut he collected 11 disposals and became a part of history, playing in the first AFL match in snow.
He also played the week after against Gold Coast and registered 18 possessions, a career high number for the defender.
Having showed huge potential this year, Jiath is sure to be one to watch come 2020.
