For those of our fans who aren’t familiar with the talent of Hawthorn’s new recruit Jonathon Patton, we thought we’d give a teaser of what the forward can produce and take a look at the big man’s top five games over his career…

Round 22, 2016

Greater Western Sydney 19.15 (129) def. Fremantle 5.7 (37)

Patton was instrumental in the Giants’ 92-point win over Fremantle, kicking a career-high six goals.

He registered 14 disposals and eight marks, of which six were inside 50.

The forward was named in the best for his huge impact on the scoreboard.

 

Round 23, 2016

Greater Western Sydney 14.16 (100) def. North Melbourne 9.9 (63)

With Giants' goalkicker Jeremy Cameron unable to make an impact on the scoreboard, Patton stepped up and led the way in attack with five goals.

On top of his multiple majors, he also racked up 17 disposals, nine marks and 13 kicks.

Once again he earned himself best-on-ground honours.

 

Round 4, 2017

Greater Western Sydney 16.16 (112) def. Port Adelaide 11.15 (81)

In the Giants’ 31-point win over the Power, Patton equalled his career-high six goals.

He dominated as full-forward and kicked two crucial goals in the final term to help his side to the win.

Once again, he was named in the best for his bag of six and 15 disposals. 

 

Round 14, 2017

Greater Western Sydney 22.14 (146) def. Brisbane Lions 12.14 (86)

In GWS' 60-point win over the Lions, the 26-year-old collected four goals and 23 disposals - a career high number of disposals for the forward.

During the win, Patton demonstrated his strength in the contest with 13 strong marks, of which six were contested.

 

Round 16, 2017

Hawthorn 14.13 (97) drew with Greater Western Sydney 15.7 (97)

Facing up against his future teammates, Patton kicked five goals and registered 14 disposals.

The full forward was named best on for the Giants with himself and now reunited teammate, Tom Scully, helping their side to a draw.
