Jackson Ross came to the Hawks in the 2017 NAB AFL Draft with Pick 51.

The forward/midfielder played 18 games for Box Hill in his first season at the club and was looking to break into the senior side this year.

Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be but the 20-year-old still had an impressive year in the VFL side and kicked the highest number of goals for the Hawks booting 35.

His best game was the Round 1 clash against Casey, kicking five goals and racking up 16 possessions, showing his strong contested mark and his ability to hit the scoreboard.

Having shown huge improvement and potential for Box Hill, next year will hopefully be the year he plays his first AFL game.
