He may not have had his chance at AFL level yet, but Damon Greaves looked right at home against St Kilda on Thursday night.
Greaves did his chances of a senior debut in 2020 no harm with an impressive outing in the club's first pre-season hit-out.
The West Australian collected 17 disposals, three tackles and a team-high eight rebound 50s.
Entering his second year on the Hawks list, the 19-year-old credited his strong performance to the relationships he has been able to build over the summer with his fellow defenders.
"The trust I have in my teammates and the trust they have in me is starting to build a lot," Greaves said post-match.
"So, it is good to be able to get some game-time and some exposure into that level - I think it will benefit my development even more."
