With the Hawks scheduled to play West Coast on the weekend, we've had to look back to our favourite clash against the Eagles for this week's Moment of the Match, proudly brought to you by VRGF.
Hawthorn has had some famous meetings against the Eagles in the past 33 years - high-stakes home and away games, do-or-die finals and, of course, two famous Grand Finals.
But, when looking back at our rich history with West Coast, who could we possibly go past that fateful day now five years ago when Alastair Clarkson's side secured its place in history by claiming its third consecutive premiership win.
Take a look back on that day with us now and decide which was your favourite moment of that one Saturday in October!
Silk's courage
When you think of Shaun Burgoyne, you think of his cool head under pressure, his ability to play on any position on the ground and, of course, his incredible skill level. But the four-time premiership player's courage arguably doesn't get enough airplay. This footage here is testament to our number nine's fierce approach to a contest on one of the most important days of his career.
Hodge's spectacular finish
One doesn't simply acquire the moniker of Mr September. It takes countless moments of brilliance in the atmosphere of finals, the difficult climate that it is, in order to truly earn that nickname. And, well, Hodgey deserves that name. Here is just one example of why.
Cyril from no where
In a similar vein to our words on Shaun Burgoyne, the immortalised highlights of Cyril Rioli consists primarily of the ridiculous marks and freakish goals. But this moment, a 50m chase-down tackle on the biggest stage of all is perhaps more team-lifting and awe-inspiring than any mark or major.
