Hawthorn has completed its final full-week of training preparation ahead of Round 2 with a match simulation session on Friday.
With the Hawks set to take on Geelong in a week's time, the squad was put through its paces ahead of the long-awaited season restart.
GM - Football Graham Wright said the boys were in good touch throughout the session, with an injury to youngster Changkuoth Jiath the only concern across an otherwise unscathed playing group.
"We've just completed an extended match practice session that all seemed to go to plan," Wright said
"The only real injury to come from today was CJ who hurt his hamstring - he will have a scan and we will await to see what the results say there.
"But, apart from that, everyone got through unscathed so we can start to look forward to next week."

There were 43 players available for the hit-out on Friday, although vice-captain Jaeger O'Meara was a noticeable omission from the session.
O'Meara is in a race against the clock to prove his fitness ahead of the Cats clash after scans revealed a minor fracture in his forehead after a collision at training early last week.
"Jaeger didn't play today, but there will be a decision made on him early next week."
