It didn't matter what the temperature was, players hit the gym to push their bodies to the limit as they took part in a weights session on Friday afternoon.

Looking to increase overall strength, the boys worked on both their upper and lower bodies throughout the session with no reprieve from Melbourne's heatwave in sight.

The over 40 degree weather hasn't stopped the team from training all week as they prepare for a big 2014.
