Hawthorn forward Dayle Garlett will not be available for selection at VFL or AFL level in the near future after expressing concerns that he’s finding it difficult to cope with the demands of AFL football.

Garlett approached the Club during the week to address his concerns, and GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan said it was in Garlett’s best interests not to add the pressures of match play.

Garlett will continue to train with the playing group.
